With crisp, blue skies overhead, yellow cottonwood leaves ticking in high branches and great orange gourds waiting ripe in the fields, autumn is the time for a pilgrimage to our 120-acre pumpkin patch. And at Rock Creek Farm, you’ll enjoy the authentic, old-fashioned tradition of choosing your favorite pumpkin and harvesting it straight from the vine — we’ll even provide the shears! Our genuine farm experience offers more family fun than wandering through a lot full of pre-cut pumpkins.

And you wouldn’t want that perfect pumpkin to be lonely on the porch, would you? Never fear: We’ve got cornstalks, crisp straw bales, goofy gourds and bright Indian corn to keep it company.

How to find the perfect pumpkin at Rock Creek Farms:

1. Getting Here

Make Sure You Bring Your Own Shears or Scissors to Harvest Your Perfect Pumpkin.

3. Find the Patch

Just past the farm buildings, bear left and follow the signs to the pumpkin patch.

4. Enter

Enter any field marked “open.”

5. Stay in Your Lane

Please stay on designated driving tracks.

6. Search

Wander freely with your family until you find that just-right pumpkin to make a Jack O’Lantern, bake a pie or decorate your cornucopia.

7. Gaze About

Be sure to try navigating any of our fun, challenging corn mazes and visit the animals — horses, cattle, sheep, pigs and more.

8. Enjoy Your Visit

Don’t forget to stop by and enjoy some of our pumpkin bread and pick up corn stalks, gourds, colorful Indian corn and more for your upcoming autumn celebrations.

Join us for fall family fun activities at one of the largest pumpkin patches in northern Colorado. We have over 100 acres of U-Pick-Em pumpkin fields for you to explore and find the perfect pumpkins. Pumpkins aren't where the fun stops, try our hay bale maze or get lost in the winding paths of over six miles of Corn Mazes.
